Dressage is the basic training of horse and rider. Dressage training teaches the rider to communicate effectively with the horse. Horse and rider learn to move in balance together.
Jumping is a fun way to enjoy your horse and test your skills! Learn to jump on one of our horses or bring your own.
Trail riding is a nice change for the horses and a great way to enjoy the beauty of the River Valley Nature Preserve. Trails lead directly from the ranch to the beach!
Training follows a natural progression using the Training Scale. The rider first learns the correct posture and aids to support the horse.
Rhythm, Suppleness, Connection, Impulsion, Straightness and Collection. The training scale guides riders step by step along the path to balance and harmony with their horse.
